So - one singles player left (Cam); 5 mens doubles (Joe, Neal, Jamie, LLoyd, Henry), 1 womens doubles (Sam), 2 mixed doubles (Neal, Lloyd).
Not sure where this will land, feels like mens doubles will be the key to how many wins we get.
As of end of day 5, all people who made a prediction are still in the hunt! Havent bothered trying to calculate the maximum we can get though, in terms of wins, anyone tried to calculate it?
Isn't it always ?
Disappointed only Cam left in the singles, would love to see more of our college players coming through - I know Paul Js had injury problems, but Nuno Borges (Paul defeated in the NCAA final) has a ranking of 69. Ben Shelton is flying at 16 and JJ Wolf has a ranking of 57
Our mixed is limited by our 3 pairs all being in the same quarter.
If Cam loses to Casper Ruud in his R3 match that will immediately reduce the maximum by 5 and our more optimistic predictors will begin to drop out from the first Saturday. C'mon, Cam!
