Decided to put this up now, I will close the vote on Sunday at 2 pm in the afternoon! (as I have set a timer on the voting tool!)
Please vote for the number of main draw wins you feel Britain will get. Remember:
PLEASE SAY WHAT YOU VOTE FOR SO WE CAN TRACK IT AND SEE WHO WINS AT THE END!"
Rules: there are only a couple
1) British MAIN DRAW singles or doubles wins, incl mixed doubles all count as one win. This doesnt count juniors etc, just the 5 primary main draw events
2) For doubles - if a Brit is part of a pair, it counts as one win. If the pair is all British it still just counts as one win.
Recent records:
AO 2022 - 17 wins
AO 2023 - 20 wins
FO 2023 - 15 wins
Wimbledon 2023 - 30 wins
US Open 2023 - 26 wins
Recent winners:
AO 2022 - Brittak
AO 2023 - Coup Droit, Indiana and one other un named person!!
FO 2023 - Miriam abc and JonH Comes Home
Wimbledon 2023 - Miriam abc
US Open 2023 - Elegant Point
Miriam abc is our perennial top dog in this, Miriam didnt take part in USO 23 I dont believe, and I think has been around the board recently. I hope all the recent winners listed above take part - CD and Indy to defend their AO win in 2023; EP to defend their title from the USO 2023; and Miriam to challenge and regain her crown as the top performer!!
As our best overseas slam total recently is 26 at the US Open, I have set poll range as 12 or less and up to 31 or more - I think we should be safe at 31 or more, but you never know how our players will perform!
finally - if you vote 12 or less OR 31 or more, please say the exact number you predict!

I have decided I am feeling rather more optimistic than usual this time around and so have gone for 28. No real science, as always, we dont even know the draw!!
A few early votes - those who have also voted so far, please do say what you vote - we like to anoint a winner in this and we cant do that if you dont say who you are or what you voted for!!
12. So I can be pleased when we do better but offset it slightly if it's a disaster! As always a lot depends on draws, luck, injuries, if anyone gets through qualifying etc.
I've been optimistic and gone for 25, although that's based on hoping for solid to excellent doubles performances and a not-terrible showing by our fairly large number of singles entrants.
