Well done to Oskar and Ginny.

It's my first year of taking an interest in the littlies. Good to know there's these prospects coming through.

Three out of three in Belgium today

J60 Belgium

QFs:

Mark Ceban won in three sets

Annabel (seeded 2) and Isabella Wong both won in two

And will face off in the SFs, so we have a guaranteed finalist

Also, Tamara & Isabella have made the final in the doubles

J60 Belgium

SFs:

Mark Ceban lost, but the score was pretty tight

isabella Wong, unseeded and age 16, beat Annabel (seeded 2 and age 15) without too much trouble

Good luck to her in the final

Real shame, Tamara & Isabella lost their final in the doubles by 8-10 in the MTB

J60 Germany

Dan & Enrico lost their SF

In the France top U12 event, our two singles players lost out in the SFs, but it was a very good showing from both kids

However, , Oskar & Pekko won the doubles final ! (By 10-8 in the MTB)

And as an aside, the 'big scandal' in tennis in a lot of Aussie papers this week has been the 'shock defection' (Canberra Times) of Charlie Camus - Australia's top junior, currently #17 - to France

Charlie is very high profile, been with Lleyton Hewitt a lot, won their Junior Sportsman of the year (or something like that), has been connected with the adult Davis Cup team (as well as playing for the Junior one, of course)

Supposedly the FFT gave him a better offer.......

A like a bit of a scandal! Will that impact the mutual wild card programme for the AO?!
