Round 1 is split over 2 days. Henry took time to get going but blitzed the second and third sets. He is likely to face the strong top seed next. Both of the girls playing today lost out in three setters. They both though have teamed up with their opponents to play together in doubles.

Not wanting to steal David's thunder but a GREAT result in Turkey today, with tall Henry Jefferson, unseeded and only ranked JWR 286, beating the Czech top seed, JWR 33 (!), in two sets
Henry played pretty well at Wimbledon, didn't he? He nearly knocked out the third seed in the second round, which I'm sure would have really boosted his confidence.
