Andy has only held serve once I think which says it all.

How many times has Blake held though?

15-30: Exquisite play from Andy, one of his best points in this match. He hits a short angled backhand slice, forcing Blake into the net but the American is off-balance and Murray steps up the court and slots an easy pass for a winner

15-40: Murray - just brilliant !!! Another angled slice brings Blake into the net again and this time a topspin lob leaves Blake completely helpless. Top class tennis !

Andy wrong-foots Blake with a backhand winner off a short ball. Brilliant stuff from Andy in that game, that's the level he needs to maintain to win this match.

But, can he hold his serve ?

Murray serving:

0-15: Murray brings Blake into the net but can't find a way past this time and a mis-hit half-volley drop shot wins the point for the American.

15-15: Blake under pressure and floats a forehand long.

This Hamburg scoreboard sucks. Call themselves a Master Series Tournament?

Once again, er, no.

Not looking good at all now.

15-30: The Blake forehand is to the fore again and a cracking shot down the line forces an error from Murray

30-30: Blake tries to give a mid-court forehand extra ooomph, but ballons it long. That one left scorchmarks on the court

I loathe it. With a deep and deadly loathing.

(and I'm not too fond of "You have recently posted a comment. Please wait a moment before trying to post again either"

Holy Cow....I must jinx the poor guy.  I have never seen him win a match on TV....the wheels have really come off.  When he broke him I got excited.

30-40: When under pressure, Andy always seems to think that the answer is to go for another drop shot. He misses this one and gifts Blake a chance. At this level you just can't do that

Blake breaks, punishing Andy with some forcing shots and Murray goes long.

4-2 down. Andy is still yet to hold and Blake has only held once in this set

serving to stay in the match and tournament. On his previous record it looks like Blake has done it!

Blake now leads 5-2, Murray has been getting more and more frustrated and it showed in that game. He tried to go for big winners on every point and it just didn't work. 4 straight ues and Blake is one game away from the 3rd round.
