 Tighter than theyd have liked. 

I wonder if Lloyd and Harri will continue as a pair after this season, just a thought with the usual end of season movements probably starting in a month or so?

 the schedule seems to have 3 more matches after the French guys finish - that aint happening in just 4 hours, IMO, so either Liams next match will be a lot later than the NB time or they will move stuff onto other courts -- I cant imagine they will want to hang it over to another day if courts are available to get things played?

With Lestienne winning very rapidly (by retirement), we are just 1 doubles match away now. So should be quite close to scheduled time.

Sometimes pairs get stale at this level, and need freshening up. Since May, they havent been the same. Have they reached their peak as a pair? Not sure, hope not, but just putting it out there that they may review it. 

In the same way Julian and Henry seem to have taken that view when they seemed to be going well. But they reached a point where one of them or both took a view that a change was needed (Julian it would seem?) when to most of us in the outside they had been doing really well. 

often depends on whose also partner free and how they are getting on at a personal level.

Dont forget Harri and Lloyd didnt play the grass season together due to Harri becoming a parent again. This got them out of their rhythm a bit. I think this is why they are playing here this week rather than in China. Get some matches under their belt, makes sense. Think Harri also had an injury at some point. Id be surprised to see them split, hasnt been a bad year. But would be tough to match the heights they have previously set with the mid season disruption.

 all good points - just raising the question really, not sure I would expect it and definitely wouldnt want it, just wondering out loud , tbh!

I make that top 100. Live 97 and can only see 3 players that can overtake him. But 2 of them in the same tournament and both wont be able to.
