Ive been surprised hes managed to stay within the top 16 seedings for as long as he has if Im honest.

Interestingly he's currently 15 on the race despite what by his recent form has been a disappointing year.

Couldnt follow yesterday as travelling but now on same time zone as the tournament! Great to see that we have three left and liking how Jack is doing - Mmoh is a winnable match and maybe Rublev as well!

American men so far dominating that third quarter- Shelton, Paul and Tiafoe through and hikikata or Zhanf to join them

Shelton looking really good today. Love to see him and Frances in the last 8 going head to head

???  confuse  Playing Rinderknech, not a Brit.  Love your creative spelling of Hijikata, by the way.  wink

I think Jon was saying Rublev was a winnable match for Draper should they both come through their 3rd round matches.

I was saying exactly that - and sorry re spelling but Im on my phone and it does funny things to spelling. I just tried typing the Aussies name again and it autocorrects it to Hikikata for some reason .

Djoko survived a big 5 set scare last night.

All the talk here is re the us guys in the last 16 and could this be the first us slam win since A-Rod. Dont see it myself although the 4 left in the bottom half are playing decent and entertaining tennis. Certainly expect a semifinalist though

Hoping Djoko gets knocked out - not keen on an another Alcaraz vs  Djoko final. Maybe Paul will be a surprise outsider especially if the crowd gets behind him??

Two games and neither player has scored a point against serve

Allez, Jack !

The French commentator (not the idiot, Andre Castle stlye one, but the tennis, actually knows something about tennis one) has been comparing the two players

In his opinion, Jack has more natural talent, is more fluid in his shots, better acceleration, whereas Mmoh's tennis is more 'learnt', technically not so good, has trouble taking the ball early BUT Mmoh is a huge worker and will get every inch out of his potential

First set to Jack 6-4.
Plus a break of serve to start the second.
