Votes range from 11 or less through to 24. Will you be our supreme optimist?!

14 votes in now. Reminder we close to votes Sunday night. Most popular so far is 18 wins, but a good range of votes from less than 11 up to 24.

The main singles draws are being made on Thursday, so I expect people (including me) are waiting to see what disasters are coming.

Defintely - we have two types of voters - those who wait and see like you (half of us id guess) and those who just go for it on instinct (like me!)

and we all tend to be wrong more often than not

Im hoping bob is doing as planned and waiting for Miriam to vote !

15 - I'm not too hopeful this year and am expecting some retirements and tough draws.

Most people are but if you vote, please let us know what so we can track back and see who gets closest to winning, although the starting assumption is that it will be Miriam!!

16 votes now - draws out. Mens all look winnable, maybe one of two in ladies. A few wins possible at least ?

Any takers - vote for your prediction on British wins by end of Sunday

Ill be on holiday for the fortnight of the US Open, so would be great if , once
Play gets going, others can update the wins tally as things progress. Ill be checking in , of course, from the beach , but just not often!

17 votes in - 18 wins and 20 wins are now equally the most popular predictions, with 24 wins still the most optimistic and 11 or less the least!

I'm going to go for an optimistic 22, with half of those coming from the men's doubles. I can't see more than three wins for any player in the singles and the doubles draws are still to be made although I'm hoping for a run from someone !
