Unusually there are no semi-finalists who are close to ATP 500 in ranking (Fonseca isn't far away, and he gained a measure of revenge in the doubles). All have strong junior records though.

I'm looking at the numbers (albeit, I am very much a novice when it comes to the junior rankings) and this may take Henry into the Top 10?
Not quite. I make it 12 at best. He will be just behind the current 10th ranked boy, Learner Tien, and one of the other semifinalists Darwin Blanch will also be ahead (haven't checked whether anyone else close to the top 10 but knocked out has also overtaken Tien). One more win will do it though
Somewhat interesting that for the boys and girls, the three who did best here at Junior Wimbledon are not the three that did best either at Roehampton, nor at the Junior Nationals.
In the National Championships, Henry lost easily to Oliver Bonding in the semis (who himself lost to Luca Pow in the final)
Mika lost easily to Hannah Klugman in the semis of the U18, and again in the final of the U16
Ranah, of course, was out injured.
At Roehampton, it was Viktor F who had a great run to the semis, with Henry losing a couple of rounds earlier.
Mika lost in R1 (albeit very very narrowly to the top seed). And Ranah only won one match, with Isa Lacy doing the best.
Nothing really illuminating here - obviously different weeks are slightly different, and none of them were rank outsiders, but just to mention in passing.
Just from my perspective, Mika is the one who most surprised/impressed me. Henry has always been a little fave, I love his timing and attitude. And big fan of Ranah since nationals at Surbiton for her skillset, and her potential - she has so many things to improve on, it's really exciting. But Mika has really stepped up and caught me napping - a great showing here.
I wonder why they didnt move it to No 1 court - vacant now?
The problem I guess is fairness. They could only move one of the semis to court 1, leaving the other 3 to play out tomorrow. The weather forecast tomorrow is iffy, but may prove ok. Nevertheless there are two players (Darwin Blanch and Renata Jamrichova) who are still in both singles and doubles so I guess they will be scheduled first, like today, to maximise the chance of them playing a singles and doubles (they might even schedule all 4 semis first on different courts - or play some semis on court 1 tomorrow). I expect all the finals will be on Sunday, rather than split between Saturday and Sunday as originally planned
