We seem to have, and have had, quite a few smaller lads as part of our top players recently

So it's lovely to see Henry - a tall boy, with a thundering serve And quite a big personality too.

I don't know how to post pictures on here but here's a picture of Viktor next to Andy Murray if the link works (from his mum's Twitter account presumably) so he looks reasonably tall too. I agree that many of our boys in the recent past have been quite small.

Another bit of info about the next round opponents: Viktor's one has been beaten twice this year by Henry Searle. He also has gained most of his points from two tournaments on clay, including a stellar run to the semis at RG. He's only 15!!!!

Excellent fight back from Henry - and great to hear how into it the corwd are - lots and lots of vocal support

Lots of members of his club were there cheering him on probably hence the noise. See https://m.facebook.com/groups/wltsc/?locale=en_GB

Yes, Viktor might be 6 ft or so - not sure

But Henry is well tall

Here's a pic of Henry next to Charlie Robertson, I believe (although, to be fair, Charlie is at the other end of the spectrum)

Well, kudos to the guys from Wolverhampton ! biggrin

I like to hear a lot of noise smile

And it's interesting to see the boys' reactions - Henry was SO pumped whereas Freddy Blaydes looked like he'd just finished a practice session - I guess he's a bit more stoic in temperament smile

I was optimistic about the girls ..... less so here.....but when I acutally looked, the other guys weren't quite as scary as their seedings implied:

Henry should have a very good chance - the Indian lad doesn't have anything on his results sheet - he only just scraped through qualis and maybe his R1 match was a bit of a fluke

Viktor's guy doesn't look too scary either - quite young (age 15), a lot of clay on his results sheet....

Freddy is playing the 5th seed, who Henry has beaten twice in the last month. So I assume the young Russian isn't feeling too confident against GB opponents

Henry's Chinese opponent looks very solid. Maybe Henry can blitz him on serve and force tie-breaks

Charlie is playing the guy who won Roehampton so, unless he's got blisters or something, that's going to be tricky

Doubt we're getting four wins here (), partly because we're starting off with two fewer in the first place. But 2 would be OK, and three would be excellent. Would be very disappointed not to get one.

Thanks CD. Can you please tell me how many points the juniors get for each round? I always like to track the impact on their ranking.

Hi, I believe it's:

90; 180; 300; 490; 700; 1000

So our four girls have got 180 points so far (a big boost for all of them and a huge boost, say, for Ranah who only have five counting events, and Mika, whose lowest counter is a 10)

It would be a boost even for Henry Searle if he could get through the next round. His lowest counter is 100, so it would take him into the top 20 depending on other people's results.
