We have a 4th British boy through to round 2 as Freddy beats his Swedish opponent 6-3 6-2
How does 4 stack up compared to historical performance ? Par or are we doing well?
Better than average I would guess. Certainly a lot better than the 1 (Will Jansen) we managed last year
There were four in 2021 and 2017, last time more than that was six in 2016. But in 2016 all six lost in second round. Think difficult to judge on first round wins alone as there will be many players unfamiliar with grass.
I don't follow the juniors as much as I used to. Do we have any that are potentially generation talents coming through I.e. Andy Murray, or even any top 50 prospects like an Evans or Norrie etc. I know the girls seem to have a healthy group coming through, but I don't hear much about the boys

Impossible to be prescriptive with boys, given the nature of their tennis and men's tennis, with just a few exceptions like Andy Murray. However the small group of Brits who make top 50 (Edmund, Norrie, Evans and Draper in recent years) all come from the category of those who have broken into or near the junior top 10 by the beginning of their final junior year (there are of course others who achieve that and don't make top 50). There are certainly a couple who could well achieve that goal to keep an eye on, just as we are waiting to see whether Jack Pinnington Jones, who is the most recent to achieve that , can step up.
All our remaining boys except Henry Searle have to take on top 10 seeds

Presumably boys have a rest tomorrow and play Tuesday? Are both finals (boys and girls) scheduled for Saturday ?
Finals aren't set in stone but from the oop (girls singles + boys doubles) it looks as if they are aiming for girls singles final on Saturday and boys on Sunday

that would seem logical given the OOP, as you say.
It would be marvellous if a Brit was in one of the 4 junior finals, fingers crossed this happens!
