Is actually be really keen to understand if Miriam has a method or is it purely guesswork!?

I have a strategy  I set an estimate for each of the 5 competitions, then add them up. My estimates have never been totally right. This year I was too optimistic for MS, guessed 8 instead of 5  and too pessimistic about the women. The Md and mixed were only 1 out, though the MD will be right if Neal wins.

To keep things fair on these votes, I hereby propose that once Miriam has voted, she is not allowed to declare what she voted for until AFTER the vote is closed.  wink

 Is that a serious suggestion?!!

Haha - its all tongue in cheek Miriam - I think we are in slight awe how you get so close or win this competition each time and want to know your inside scoops!

Either way, its impressive. You are the Novak Djokovic of the forum!

Congratulations Miriam. I honestly thought you had over estimated this time but I should have known better

Miriam is the only winner here.

As I said at the start, I voted 30 wins as a tongue in cheek bit of fun as we all know that Miriam is so good at this!

Well done to Miriam - Ill try and come up with my own work and no plagiarising next time around.

Thanks also to Jon for organising.

It is almost time for the US Open so look out for a poll coming up for that sometime in the next week or so!

I will put up a poll for the US Open wins prediction game this weekend.

The last 4 slams wins have been

Wimbledon 2023 - 30
French 2023 - 15
Australian 2023 - 20
US 2022 - 25

Wimbledon obviously gets boosted by more British participants.

Shows that (a) we can't play on clay and (b) wildcards work or are unfair, whichever way you want to look at it
