Nigeria, J30:

Jubril Andu lost in R2

Both (2) Grace Chinwike and (1) Alisha Ndukwu won and are into the QFs.

Ava Austerberry lost.

Anyone know if Jubril is a brother of Mukhtar who I think at one point 4 years ago or so was the youngest person with a ATP ranking.

I don't think Jesse Clarkson & Rio Hanif winning the doubles in J30 Kampala has been noted either.

Ha, my trawl failed this time to find all our winners.

I blame the ITF site for only showing Uganda as a June tournament whereas I had gone through the end of May list.

www.youtube.com/watch

There's a Nigerian TV news slot about the tennis, which has interviews with both of our girls

(think it's post this week's event out of the Nigerian three, but it doesn't really matter)

(I note they don't spell the girls' surnames in quite the same way)
