I thought Kokki deserved that

Dan didn't play a bad match

But the Aussie just has a bit more speed and penetration on his shots

And poor Lestienne lost 6-3 in the fifth - great show, though

And meandwhile, Albot (who beat Ryan in qualis) won his R1 match.

Ofner (who beat Jan in qualis) also won his R1 match

Intersting to read about Korda, who won his first match since the Aussie Open today, and has basically taken a back seat to bulk out a bit:

"I put like 7kg of muscle on. Kind of getting back into it. Been a while since I played any tennis. Madrid, Rome, and now here, just kind of getting my feet comfortable again".

He says he was 3 months without even practicing.

How lovely for Lucas Pouille to win his R1 match against the man who he beat in the FQR.

Cam's service toss is all over the place, can't get any penetration on his shots, even more spiky than normal, and doesn't look up before he chooses a side

Benoit's forehand is a nightmare. And doesn't like to run. Nor bend his knees.

Apart from that, great match.... :(

5-5

But Cam somehow manages to snaffle the first set by 7-5.

Yes, some decent lefty serves in the ad court, with Benoit standing miles back, managed to save all the break points

Hopefully, it might get a bit easier now...

So Jack is serving underarm half the time and rolling serves in the other half???

(I exagerate but.....)

That said, he was 1-4 down

And has got it back to 4-4

But he's served at least 3 underarm serves and is doing first-seconds for a lot of them. And doesn't seem that focused or into the whole thing

He's doing OK but something's not A1 right....
