Weeks 22 & 23 - French Open (Roland-Garros) - Paris, France (clay) - SINGLES ONLY

Jack is getting an MTO

Looks like left shoulder although commentators are talking about abdo problems too

Which was obvious, really, given the service level

And he'd looked quite red too

He'll be retiring from this match soon, I reckon

No surprise, given what was on show there

Poor Jack retires - his groundshots were OK but he had no serve... ::((

Cam claws his way back into the match by winning the fourth set by 6-1 to take it to a fifth.

Cam has me to thank smile

I put a pound on Cam to win the fourth set - on the basis that (a) Benoit is a complete headcase and (b) Cam, even playing badly, is nothing it not tenacious

And here we are - with benoit having a sulk, barely moving, and it's fifth set

Hmm. Paire a break up in the fifth and not cracking so far...he seems weirdly serene by Paire standards.

Yes - it's a great match in terms of momentum, character, and crowd

But Benoit, even serene, is still a headcase....

Oh God almighty, at the change of ends the crowd have broken out with an impromptu rendition of La Marseillaise

EDIT: Now Benoit is starting to crack
