El Salvador, J60

Max Castle is through to the QFs

Latvia, J60

Ellie Blackford is into the SFs

She's also into the final of the doubles (remember that it's Ellie who won the U18 doubles title (along with Given, I think, without checking), and so gets a WC into Junior Wimbly doubles, so good to get some good dubs practice

Moldova, J30

Mark Ceban (Petits As winner) won his SF and is into the final

Chidi IkeOkot lost his SF

and Rio Hanif+ lost their dubs SF

But a very good show from the unranked players

Zimbabwe, J30

Emilia Julin has made the doubles final (she won the title last week so allez, Emilia, here's to another one)

Brilliant week, Mark (age 14)

This is only his second counter

He got pipped in the doubles final, losing 7-10 in the MTB

But that's fine - leave some crumbs on the table for someone else

David will definitely be putting up a dedicated thread for it - you're right, it's an exciting event for us this year.

He normally waits until the main draws have been done so expect to see the thread tonight (or Monday, not sure of the timetable there)
