Just 8 players with votes compared to 13 in mens. Remember, because this includes qualies wins, its not always the best player who ends up with most wins!

33 votes now and 9 players with votes

Oh dear, I have kept putting off doing this because it's so difficult. The question probably should be who is going to stay fit throughout the grass court season. As there aren't any lower level tournaments and even qualifying is tough at WTA and W100 level, I can't really see any of the outsiders having much hope. I have voted for Jodie and hope she can finally push through to the top 100.

thanks SuperT, good thinking through the issue and you could be right that the chance of a suprise winner of this in the womens is less than in mens.

Have you had a vote in the mens? Go on if you get the chance!

Last reminder from me that voting will close at 8.30 am in the morning, please dont forget, if you wise to vote!

9 players ended with votes and Jodie, just , has most. Can guarantee, though, Jodie wont lead the pack after day one play tonight !

May well be the case at the back end of some weeks !

On 1 win after day 1:

Banks
Gillan
Rajecki
Lacy
Daley
Lumsden
Webley-Smith
Appleton

Long way to go - no one selected any of these in our poll of course!

Day 2 of what I think will be up to 43 finishes, and here is the new running total

TOTAL Player
2 E. Webley-Smith
2 I. Lacy
2 M. Lumsden
1 A. Banks
1 A. Gillan
1 A. Rajecki
1 D. Daley
1 E.Appleton

None of the top 3 had any supporters in our vote. The top 3 above plus the higher ranked women start all play in the main draw now

By the way, the person who voted AN Other hasnt said who the AN Other was - if they could name themselves and their intended player who they think will get the most wins, that would be marvellous - thank you

JonH, didn't you vote A.N.Other (and nominate Hannah Klugman) way back on page-1 ?  Mental maths : 1 / 34 is about 3%
