haha, indeed RJH. I went for an outsider, in Hannah K, as I feel the money in this is from getting through qualies and getting the wins at that level and in the couple of ITF events - I cant remember exactly what Jodie did last year to amass her wins, but Dan Cox took that route in the mens side

Ive gone for Fran - because I love her outlook and attitude. I think she could have a good run at RG on the clay and transition well to the grass. Besides Fran I would go for one of the juniors having a break through grass court season but maybe that is hoping too much. Shows what a gap there is since Emma was  sidelined with injuries.

So, around a week and a half before the first grass court tennis is played, voting closes for the British woman you expect to achieve the most wins this grass season on Monday 5th June

15 votes so far - 58 last year!!

It needs to be someone who is fit. She also needs not to benefit from wildcards as inevitably they pit her against women ranked well above her.

So I voted for Anna Brogan.

I hope that has not induced a health crisis in her.

If you had included doubles it would make the choice harder with Emily A, Freya and Maia coming into reckoning. I reckon it will end up being one of the top four though with Katie B being my choice over Katie S as I have my doubts over the fitness of Jodie and Harriet.
