Sorry - did you post that already? So sorry if you had - there's been so many posts recently, I thought I was up to date, but must have missed it.... apologies
As an added bonus, by playing Wimbledon qualifying Hannah and Mimi will get the ranking points/counter needed for a WTA ranking.
For anyone wondering the WCs don't count towards Hannah, Mimi or Isabelle's age eligibility WC allowance, which is just as well as Isabelle has used all her permitted 4 WCs as a 16yo. But playing qualifying does count towards the limit of how many tournaments they can play.

If she has she must have taken a wildcard and perhaps be there under some agreement with the LTA (given Katie played there last year). She's not in on ranking.
But yes, if she's in this draw she can't be playing Wimbledon qualifying.
Can't see either of those pairs getting late wildcard, so suspect 4 will go unused. EWS and Eden should have paired up for the grass in my view - would have been worth a go.

I'd expected to see Ella in with a doubles wildcard (with someone.....) She's pretty high ranked now in doubles, with that 25k title, and obviosuly is part of the 'promising youngsters' group that are being promoted
They could have paired an 'old hand' with a 'bright young thing' for a couple of pairs. Might have been interesting.
And actually, given Dabrowski and Stefani seem to have had a falling out, leaving the Canadian scrabbling for a partner (she's gone with Krunic), this might have been the best opportunity for Em and Gaby to play together, they'd have missed the cut but a top 20 grand slam winning partner might have been enough for them to notice her.

It was Wimbledon (or more specifically Jamie Baker) that got Katie's WC last year. She was at Eastbourne ready to sign in but unsure whether she'd get in and Jamie told her if she went to Bad Homburg she would have a guaranteed WC.
I suspect the WC Sonay has in Bad Homburg was meant to be Katie's. I hope Sonay not being in Wimbledon qualifying next week is not a sign that Katie has withdrawn from Wimbledon as I'd be surprised if they would use the last WC before the completion of his weeks events.

Good point. I was a bit confused by all the Sonay thing - it didn't make sense to me, just the timing
But that seems rather likely, to be honest
(PS I was tempted to post: 'I've just had a thought: do you think Katie Swan might have withdrawn?' )
