She had a break point on the resumption but Maria was the sharper and did deserve the win. But gosh what a week, so thrilled for Fran after everything.

Yes, a wonderful week - especially thinking back to that horrific moment in the match against Katy at the start of the year, when it looked like it could all be over before it began.

SHould have checked the calendar before posting. There aren't any WTA events below 500 level this month so it'll have to be the 25k's

I notice Peyton Stearns who beat Katie B closely the other week is into the final on the other side of the draw and cracks the top 100 as a result.
