4 1/2 hours to go now, still no change from the breakfast time flurry.
I was wondering about the timings on these - never quite got it right to my own satisfaction. I used to run with 24 hours, but that seemed a bit of a dash. We stretched it to 48 hours and , although it gets more votes, the pulse rate certainly doesnt quicken and the extra votes versus any degree of excitement is hard to judge - I had thought about the middle ground of a day and a half, but that means a breakfast start or finish (Sunday evening to Tuesday morning, or Monday morning to Tuesday evening) and work (darn work!) can get in the way.
This months vote seems to have had its won pace though - most months are steady on the Sunday evening but then continue steady through the Monday, slow Tuesday day and then a few more as it closes Tuesday evening. This month was massively increased on the Sunday, twice as many as normal for the first evening, a very slow Monday (because all had voted Sunday) and then dead as a Dodo on Tuesday so far. So it has made the Monday and Tuesday's feel a little pointless, to be honest.
What I dont know is if it will be like that in future months!!
So, for now, I will leave as it is and see how April pans out - and then no doubt tinker with it thereafter.
This of course is very self indulgent of me - no one else probably worries too much - I am just musing out loud!!
Meanwhile, still 40 votes placed and now just over 4 hours to go!
I'm a bit late to the party this month. Really hard to choose between Jodie and Billy, but Billy's challenger final felt like like a huge step up for him that in the end I gave my vote to him. Hope that's keeping Bob happy.

Never too late SuperT!
thanks for the vote and that takes us to 41.
Billy may well have second spot secured now, lets see

Quite a big field but in general the votes and comments re other players being considered certainly seem ended up concentrated on a much smaller group.
Indeed , and well done to Billy Harris for also taking second spot and a place in the player of the season field.
Yes, well done to Billy with 4 of the last 5 votes cast taking him from 2 behind George to 2 ahead, and FWIW denying Jodie getting 50% or more of the votes.
