Heather takes the second set 7-5 whilst her opponent is not happy with herself

If Heather wants to improve she will have to come out of her comfort zone with new coaching. More likely she will follow her mate Naomi out of the sport when expenses exceed income.

Heather 5-2 down third set saves 2 match points and serves to love so now just one break down 4-5 third set. Great escape time?

5-5. It looks like Siskova is now struggling a bit physically and using as much time as possible between points to catch her breath.

Heather has got this match as long as she doesn't choke.

Crap. I think that is Siskova now serving for it again.

And Heather survives again. On to the tiebreak.

Yikes. Still through... Siskova's first serve was impressive.

At last. 7-6 Watson in the tiebreak. It's over. It's finally over.

A win for Heather but what a struggle against WR 357.

That last return from Siskova rather looked like she'd given up, which was odd.

Heather didn't play well but some good defence at times and she did seem to try and stay positive with her play even if the very rough moments.

That was quite a recovery in the final set from two breaks down and Anna serving for the match. Not the greatest of matches, Siskova's body language in that last set was of someone about to collapse with exhaustion.

Heather was broken eight times in that match. If this was meant to be a morale boosting tournament, there's work to be done. Still, on to the next round and points are in sight.
