Just checked out Andrea....... yikes!!!!

Don't know whether it's my computer or this board, but autocorrect insists on 'Andrea'

Yes assuming you are meaning at the Australian Open Juniors.  Katie went on to reach the final in 2015.  That's a tall order for Ranah against Mirra Andreeva, who is yet to drop a set here, but let's hope the Russian has an off day or Ranah plays a blinder

Well , Ranah met her match and went down 3 and 2; really good week for her though, well done

Yes, she's had an excellent tournament, well done! Does this mean we'll have two girls in the top ten?

No.  Ranah will move up to close behind Ella, but will not be in the top 10.  Ella is currently 8, and will overtake Mboko, because of the points lost from last year, but no-one else. The other three semifinalists (Ishii, Andreeva and Korneeva) will all leapfrog Ella though so she will be 10 at best (I haven't checked whether the other players currently ranked between Ella and Ranah have earned enough points to overtake her)

Ella's doubles conquerors went on to claim the title

 Thanks David

They're getting very close but it's a shame for Ella she couldn't cement her top ten place and Ranah just misses out too.

Korneeva went on to win the girls title and Blockx the boys. I liked what I saw of Blockx game style , looked an exciting prospect .

And let's remember that Hannah played Korneeva last year in Turkey in the J2, only losing 63 36 36 !
