Allegra Korpanec Davies lost in qualifying for the second Indian J200 leaving just Gabia Paskauskas in the main draw. She has a favourable draw against a player who lost to Allegra in Delhi
As predicted, Gynina had a bit too much for Gabia who goes out 4-6 3-6. Still she was playing J4 and J5 tournaments as recently as last Autumn, so it's going to be a bit of a jump in class. She's done pretty well to get to the quarters here.
