If it was needed, a warning to Alfie and Gordon ahead of the Masters, as they lose the Doubles final in the Catalonia Open to Cattaneo and Houdet of France, in 3 sets.

That's a shame - but the bigger event to come.

Alfie in the final tomorrow in singles, Lucy in women's doubles later today.

Alfie wins the opening set 6-3; Lucy and partner lose the opening set 7-6.

Alfie went down in the third and it ran away from him. Bigger events next week !

Draws are out for the NEC Masters

Mens singles - Alfie and Gordon are together in Group B with Fernandez (who beat Alfie in the Catalonia final yesterday ) and Sanada.
Mens doubles - Alfie and Gordon together as a pair in Group A

Womens doubles - Lucy in Group B with Dana Mathewson as partner

Quad singles - Andy in Group B with Schroder, Wagner and Sugeno

Quad doubles - draw not out yet but Andy due to partner Wagner.

Wheelchair Masters is underway today and the schedule is womens and quad singles opening matches and then mens doubles and quad doubles. Not sure if womens doubles will be added later

I think the round robin stages run through to Thursday or Friday and then semis are Fri/Sat and finals Sat (doubles) and Sun (singles).

Andy Lapthorne will be in quad singles action and Alfie and Gordon in mens doubles and Andy L in quad doubles, later today

Alfie and Gordon got a to be expected comfortable win in their opening doubles match.

Andy L in his doubles to come still today; doesnt look like Lucy is on the current schedule for her doubles.
