Havent seen anything. Would be a shame if it disappears from the calenda. Although the entry quality has dropped off. I was surprised when they looked to have so many events this year. 5/6 weeks across the year is enough.

Going by this, the only thing left on the Callander is the UK Pro League finals in October. I assume that might be the end of it? Maybe it has something to do with the new LTA sponsorship with Lexus.

Maybe this has led to more money into the British Tour events?

 doesnt look promising !

I noticed at the end of the year they two events in the same week, namely: what is the TS Open Tour Masters (as opposed to the British Tour Masters?)

LEXUS BRITISH TOUR Masters - Loughborough (IH) (Date TBC)

TS OPEN TOUR MASTERS (IH) (18-19 Dec)

UKPL also posted a new article on 3rd July

ukproleague.com/stars-of-the-uk-pro-league-play-wimbledon/

So the website is at least active and someone is promoting it to an extent, which doesnt suggest it is completely dead, yet!

I noticed that the UKPL site just the past couple of days is now saying that the finals week location and date is no longer confirmed and tbc.

https://ukproleague.com/finals-week-2023/

It does feel like this league is closing down or at least in some structural realignment.

Still no dates for any future events and , indeed, for the finals week. A website still exists but hasnt been updated in some time; my instinct is that this has closed down?

Got this reply - self explanatory

Hi Jon,

Apologies for the confusion- it seems not all the website had been updated with the new calendar, but we will fix that today. The qualifying weeks have wrapped up with Week 7 a couple months ago, but we still have our Finals Week to go which will take place 2nd-7th October at the National Tennis Centre. We are also busy looking ahead to continue to the competition in 2024.

Thank you so much for your continued support and interest in the league!

Best,

Maisie

According to the UKPL website and email above, the uk pro league finals should be taking place in about a week and a halfs time.

anyone know if they are or will this prove to be the end of the series for this season at least?
