In the Tennis Europe under 14 rankings Hollie Smart's Super Category final catapults her into the top 10 for the first time (joint 7th). Savva Rybkin (Russia) reached the boys' final, cutting the gap to Mark Ceban to 30 points at the top of the U14 boys

Yes, well done Hollie !

On a separate rankings note, curious to see that the current top-10 boys has nine boys in their last year (born 2005) and one born 2006

Boys are always 'older' in juniors, but it's never usually SO last-year heavy as it has been recently.

On the contrary, the girls top 10 has only 4 x 2005-ers; 3 x 2006-ers; and 3 x 2007-ers

The entry lists are out for Roland Garros (or at least they were yesterday, though they have temporarily been removed). Of our top 100 ranked boys Oli Bonding is in, and Henry Searle 2 out, so should make it after withdrawals. Charlie Robertson is in qualifying, but Luca Pow was not on the list. In the girls Ella McDonald, Ranah Stoiber and Mimi Xu are in the main draw, Hannah Klugman in qualifying and Hep Oluwadare 6 or 8 out from qualifying (I forget which)

Can someone just clarify the acceptance lists for Roland Garros Juniors 2023. I see that Oliver G (wow what  a prospect!) is direct entry but Henry Searle is in qualifying? Ella McDonald, Ranah Stoiber and Mingge Xu in the girls MD, with Hannah Klugman in qualifying. When do they confirm if they are going to play or not? I follow Mimi and I believe she has been injured. Thank you to the experts on here, first place to come for news on the Juniors!

 Thank you for your generous comment.  Singles qualifying starts on June 1st, with the draw being made on the previous day.  If there are 2 withdrawals before then, or the 2 Special Exempt places are not required for players still competing at Charleroi then Henry will move into the main draw. Players can withdraw at any point, so we will only know when the main draw takes place (June 4th) if all our players accepted into the main draw are actually taking part.  Any withdrawing after May 31st will be replaced by lucky losers.  If you regularly check the main draw acceptance lists then you should see if Mimi withdraws prior to the draws being made (very late withdrawals will not feature on the publicly accessible list though)
