I left halfway through the doubles, but Spain won, so are now 3-0.

Kazakhstan out, GB need to win 3-0, Spain need one rubber.

Really enjoyed that today.

great day Paullow- who you supporting tomorrow ?!

I'll be giving this British forum a wide berth wink

It'll obviously be hard to root against Badosa if she plays, but I'm mainly pleased that Kazakhstan are out, and if GB somehow do win 3-0 then you certainly couldn't begrudge them and it will be good for the majority of those in attendance, this board, and British tennis, so nearly win-win.

Ach shame it went 3-0. We're not going to win all 3 matches but I could have seen a 2-1 win and perhaps getting fortunate on count backs.

Hopefully can still do the business.

I can't see us winning both the singles either - I just hope they do play the doubles even if it is a dead rubber.

I'm on my way up to Glasgow for this afternoons session, I'm just pleased there is still some hope!

Australia have gone and won Group B over Slovakia and Belgium.

So it's Australia vs Spain or GB in the SF, living in hope

Heather is in for Katie. Shame as I think Katie would have had a pretty good chance of beating NPD on these courts but clearly she's not fit enough to play.

Good luck Heather, get stuck in.

All too much for Mertens after all that travelling, retired in the singles and didn't play doubles.

First time Heather has played in a home tie with fans. Was ill for Bath, was unused at the Copper Box and the the Mexico tie was behind closed doors.

It is kind of incredible that right now we are completely undeservedly only one win away from the semi finals.

No more undeserved than Denmark at Euro 92, and a 3-0 win looks pretty unlikely in any case.
