Week 45 - 2022 BJK Cup Finals - Glasgow, UK, Indoor Hard

Apologies its Bolsova and Masarova - which is probably their strongest offer. Bolsova is a good doubles player.

It's Bolsova and Makarova CR247 (58+189)

I was expecting Bolsova and Bucsa

Super battling win for Harriet, giving everything for the cause. Badosa couldn't cope with the intensity of Dart's game today.

Bolsova and Masarova have never lost as a pair.

GB to serve - hold tight everyone.

Gosh this is good doubles and very competitive. The girls have saved 5 break points, and missed two (both extinguished with excellent serves).

4-3*

*3-3 ( now outdated )

I wonder how close the call was re Lissey & Liv over Harriet & Heather.

I know I have at least advocated one or both Lissey & Liv for the squad and that some folk would probably be appalled if Lissey & Liv didn't play after Tuesday. But I have generally thought that Harriet & Heather are the better pair and both would no doubt be on a high.

I wouldn't have criticised Anne for going either way as long as she simply picked what she thought was the most likely pair to win.

Oh Liv you could have had that. So nearly squeezing the volley over after recovering from 0-40* to deuce.

Best chance to break that one.

*4-4

Just seen all this after a busy day - and the match is on bbc tv red button - go Liv and Lissey, a set up! What happened to Badosa?

Oh my. Such a tight set, very tight tiebreak. Really impressed by how clutch Liv served at *6-5 to seal it.

Important to keep the pressure on now though. Could turn so easily.

Don't really like women's doubles, but this match is quite enjoyable.
