Yes, an inspired tie break from the feisty, aggressive Harriet. Let's try not to think about the result of their previous two meetings where Harriet also won the first set.
I wasn't until you mentioned it there.
C'mon Harriet. Different time, different place ...
Well done Harriet she looks certain to overtake Emma R as British no 1 on that form. Let's hope she can remain that inspired in the future. She knocked all the fight out of the world no 33, she was making Ajla Tomljanovic look pretty pedestrian in the end.
Though I certainly wouldn't agree that she looks certain to overtake Emma for GB #1 on that form. Whatever form from Harriet, if Emma is fit going into 2023 I doubt that Harriet will overtake her next year. I'd say that fundamentally (and I hope she gets back more to fundamentals ) Emma is GB's best player by a fair margin and I hope things go much more to plan for her next year. But really for another time.
C'mon Lissey & Liv !!!

Did really well from *3-5 to 6-5*. Just couldn't get enough on the volley on the first set point to put it away and the Aussies recovered well. And it was not a good tiebreak. Such a shame, especially as Stosur was looking very very shaky.
6-7(1) 0-0*
Tough road back from here. Sanders is just so so good.
