Boys & Girls: J4 Casablanca, Morocco - clay (Week 41)

We've got a pretty big turnout here, with well-seeded players, so it warrants it's own thread, I reckon.

BOYS

R1 wins for: (2) Ben Gusic Wan; (3) Henry Jefferson; (8) Luca Bluett; and Charlie Robertson (who beat the 4th seed);

Josh Manuel lost

GIRLS

R1 wins for (2) Millie Skelton and Hannah Rylatt (who beat the 8th seed)

QFs:

In the top half of the draw, Luca B and Henry Jefferson both lost

But in the bottom half, both our lads won so in the SFs, there's Charlie Robertson v Ben Gusic Wan

In the girls, both Millie and Hannah lost (Millie lost to the 2009-born mega Instagrammable 'starlet', Ksenia Efremova)

Hannah R and Millie have made the final of the doubles though

SFs:

Ben Gusic Wan def. Charlie Robertson, 6-2 6-3, and will now play the French top seed in the final

In the doubles, Hannah and Millie have also made the final

Good luck to all !

Ben G Wan lost his final, but it was a good score (6-4, 7-6(1)) against the top seed.

But:

Hannah Rylatt and Millie Skelton took the doubles title, winning all their matches this week in two sets, barely breaking a sweat

And just to mention in passing that the Russian tiddler who beat Millie went on to take the title, so very good show by Millie

Eframova will now be another 2009-er in the top-500, to join Hannah
