This is a really interesting bunch.

Stusek won last week, in a J3. (Which will change her ranking, come Monday)

Good to see a player with an atpyical game.

And Korneeva is certainly well ranked for a J2

Nice to see the Brits back in action

Both doubles pairs were successful (Isabelle/Nao having a w/o) so meet in the quarters. In singles Hannah plays a girl who has won her last 2 tournaments (Grade 4 and Grade 3)

R2

(3) Hephzibah Oluwadare v Nao Nishino (JPN)
Duru Suke (TUR) v (4) Isabelle Lacy
(7) Hannah Klugman v Daria Egorova (***)

A very convincing win for 14-year-old little fave, Hep O, over 17-year-old Nao Nishino, who won the recent J4 in Loughbourough.

Isabelle won with an even more one-sided score.

So just Hannah left.

Hannah got rather lucky, having lost the first set 3-6, and then her opponent having to retire

Lovely to see. Well done. Much tougher tests in the next round as all three opponents have had at least two recent tournament wins at J3/J4 level.

As Nix says al the quarter-final opponents have impressive winning records recently, like Hannah's unfortunate adversary today . Particularly Annelln Bakker, who has reached at least the semi-final stage of her last 6 tournaments, winning 3 of them

R2

(3) Hephzibah Oluwadare v Nao Nishino (JPN) 6-4 6-0
(4) Isabelle Lacy d. Duru Suke (TUR) 6-1 6-0
(7) Hannah Klugman d. Daria Egorova (***) 3-6 rtd

QF

(3) Hephzibah Oluwadare v (5) Annelin Bakker (NED)
(6) Mara Gae (ROU) v (4) Isabelle Lacy
(7) Hannah Klugman v Nellie Taraba Wallberg (SWE)

Good to see her reaching the semis here. She's had a bit of an indifferent run recently after a solid start to the year.

Impressive as all three of our girls get through. Hannah plays Isabelle and Heph plays the number one seed in the semis.

Good luck to all of them.

That's going to be sizeable extra points for all three

Well done to team GB and good luck in the semis

(Hep & Hannah lost their semis in the doubles, not that it matters too much )

3/3 is very impressive against that type of opponent. Hep will be back inside the top 100 as a result.

QF

(4) Isabelle Lacy d. (6) Mara Gae (ROU) 6-3 6-2
(7) Hannah Klugman d. Nellie Taraba Wallberg (SWE) 7-5 6-4

SF

(1) Alina Korneeva (***) v (3) Hephzibah Oluwadare
(4) Isabelle Lacy v (7) Hannah Klugman
