Could've been a lot worse!  The only trouble is that the "prize" for the winner is a likely last 16 match against the fifth seed, Botic van de Zandschulp.

Thats a good draw for a 250 and BvdZ in the next round is to be expected in terms of level - a non seed would always run into a seed in the second round of a 32 draw event .

Indeed it is.

And, while Liam indeed had to be bracketed with a seed in the first two rounds, BvdZ also still has his L32 match to negotiate.
