And worth mentioning that this is $28k up to now that he's earned this week.

What does that do for his ranking?

*****

QF:  (Q) Liam Broady WR 174 vs (2) Marin Cilic (CRO) WR 16 (CH = 3 in January 2018)

Wow that's a tremendous win. Wasn't expecting it but fantastic news!!!

Marvellous - work got in the way and I lose sight of Liam!

Is beating a WR 35 player a career best for Liam?

Takes Liam to $438k earnings for the season. Not too shoddy.

FWIW Cam is at $2.75m, Dan $1.46m, Andy $863k, Jack $655k, Liam at $438k is 104th top earner, and Ryan is $258k and Jubby at $166k; Jay, Ali and Kyle are also just above $100k (Kyle surprised me!)

Didn't he beat Schwartzman at Wimbly? But certainly up there in his top wins.

Kyle got $80K for competing in MD R1 at the US Open. Nice work if you can get it.

Making the Slams makes such a difference.

Ive applied for a wild card for all 4 slams next year - will also apply for doubles and mixed doubles. If I can get into all 4 slams x 3 draws then that should sort my year out for me quite nicely.

Will keep you informed how I get on.

I forgot Liam has played Cilic before, at Queens this season, where he pushed it to 7-5 final set before losing. Maybe some hope from that.

Liam has given a walkover

Another walkover that goes against us:

QF:  (2) Marin Cilic (CRO) WR 16 "defeated" (Q) Liam Broady WR 174 by a walkover  cry

As with Cam, I hope it's nothing serious.  The draw sheet says nothing as yet.

Such as shame. Cam was illness, Jack didnt make Sofia and is out of Astana due to Illness. Wonder if the Brits had been training together and something has gone round?

It does all sound very strange and maybe too much to be a coincidence??
