Tough round 2s for both Ella and Will. Ella takes on a 15 year old Russian prodigy already WTA448 after winning a 25K recently, while Will meets the Wimbledon runner-up (ATP 887)

Girls R1 (L64)
Ella McDonald d. (WC) Eleana Yu (USA) 7-5 6-3
Ranah Akua Stoiber v (SE) Federica Urgesi (ITA)
It's not a great match, IMO (but then, Brady's tennis always leaves me rather underwhelmed) but Patrick has taken the first set, 6-4
Ranah's match is faintly better but Ranah is clearly the stronger player but makes SUCH sloppy errors at times She led 3-0 She led 5-3 And now we're at 5-5
ADD: and then loses it 5-7

Ranah came through 5-7 6-3 6-4 getting just enough winners to compensate for the high error count. She will probably need to play a lot better to progress further, with her likely round 2 opponent being Liv Hovde, currently cruising through her round 1 match
Ella and Will play their round 2 matches later this evening. Patrick is likely to be up against Wimbledon semi-finalist Martin Landaluce, though the Spaniard is in to a first set tiebreak currently in his round 1 match
The expected opponents for Patrick and Ranah (Liv Hovde did the Roehampton/Wimbledon double, and beat Harriet Dart earlier in the year). Ella and Will may be on court in about an hour, if the matches currently on their courts are decided in straight sets. Ranah also has her doubles on later.
