12. Jamie Murray - for winning his first ATP tour title of the season in Winston-Salem, and rising back to WR14
13. Alisha Reayer - winning the 15k doubles title in Mexico - her first final - first title - showing that 'they also serve....', the tennis pyramid needs all players....
14. Marni Banks - age 19 - runner-up in Roehampton 25k, beating several top-500 players - after many injury problems - gone from unranked in July to WTA 801 now, before the Roehampton points get added
15. Megan Knight - won the British Nationals U12, despite being a category below (a big deal for that age) - beating the clear favourite, and doing it playing excellent, stand-out tennis
16. Anna Brogan - runner-up in Vigo, Spain 25K, beating the 4th and 2nd seeds, ranked 311 and 256, before losing to the top seed, ranked 224, in the final. Enough to take her to a big new CH, possibly just inside the top 400.
Ive been wanting to vote for Lissey and Liv quite a few times before but havent because they just didnt quite compare in those months to the achievements of others. This month I have no hesitation , they deserve their success and this is their moment. I am keeping everything crossed for them in the vote and in their next matches. Well done!

Thanks Canda - yea, theyve the most 3rd or 4th places in previous votes this season, often the bridesmaidsmaybe their time !
Of last months nominees , only Cam and Neal made it into the vote this month. It is great how the joy is spread
Around. Cam of course won last month, Neal I dont think has won one before. With a masters 1000 title, maybe its his time?
In fact Neal has been nominated 7 months out of 8 this season, just missing March. I think that is the most of all players (although Id need to check more forensically).
A great list this month and I could have voted for a number of them. But I'm sticking with my nomination of Lissey and Liv for their performances over the whole month and climb up the rankings.

Its funny how last month was Wimbledon and yet, probably because it was early in the period, the rest of July and the vote felt a little flat. This month feels like its been a build up. And more interesting .
next month is US Open then DC later so maybe continued highs.
