Just to say, 4 weeks takes us up to the opening of the US Open, so will include the Canada and Cinci M/W 1000 events the next two weeks and then US Open qualies.
Is it me or does the NAm Hardcourt stretch feel shorter than ever - in essence we have Atlanta; Washington/San Jose/Los Cabos; Canada; Cinci; WinstonSalem - I am sure it always used to feel longer to me at one time but presumably not - unless they lost a week when Wimbledon went back a few years ago, it is probably that?
I am going to get the first name in - albeit most of the wins that got him there occured before August, nonetheless Dan Cox managed to achieve the most grass wins by a Brit.
1. Dan Cox - for achieving the most British wins in grass events over the 2022 grass court season
So, we are close to end of week one with a few titles achieved and one or two more finals to come. 3 weeks left after this with nominations closing on 28th august.
Not for the first time I'm nominating Lissey and Liv
1. Dan Cox - for achieving the most British wins in grass events over the 2022 grass court season
2. Patrick Brady - age 17 - UNR - defeating the second seed, ATP 298, and then Toby, ATP 703
3. Alicia Barnett and Olivia Nicholls - for winning their biggest title so far (ITF 100k in Poland) and reaching new CH's. Lissey will become GB #2 and WR87 and Liv will enter the top 100 at WR90.

4. Johannus Monday - for reaching his first M25 final in Illinois, having halved his ranking from 1500 to circa 760 over the summer.
Since his 15k title last month, JoMo has made a 15k semi - and now has made the final of a 25k in Decatur, Illinois
He's currently ATP 763 in singles, having been about 1500 two months earlier, and in the top-1000 in dubs.
He may be called Monday but this guy seems to stick around for the weekend and see what's on offer.
I think that's a really good nomination
One of the things I really like about JoMo is that he was NEVER ranked as a junior - completely unranked - only played one junior event (a little J5 in Edinburgh) - and this was only two years ago - it's practically unheard of to be 763 at age 20 without ever getting any sort of ranking in juniors
(It's very different from Toby Samuel, for instance, and others who are very much on the junior tennis circuit)
He's also a tall guy who moves well - there's not that many of those
