Shame how Talia collapsed from 3-1 up in the third Lost five games on the trot She's a 2005, she should review the recordings from that match, there is a lot to be learnt from that if she wants to
Definitely let those last 5 games go too quickly. Seemed to rush and get quicker each point. That can be worked on and sorted quite easily with her coaches. I take from Talias match huge potential for the future, shes got a very aggressive game that will translate well onto the womens tour and is super competitive and not afraid to take it on. Was strong in defence too but Id say she was stronger than her opponent and was probably the right way to play with a different choice and execution on just a few shots would have taken that match. Very aggressive but possibly too much sometimes, may need a little taming but I wouldnt take that away from a player, especially a young girl - theres far too many happy to stay in the rally waiting for the opponent to error. Yes shes a 2005 but I think given the adversity, injuries and exams shes had over the last 2-3 years Im sure theres much more to come from her given the right environment - the ingredients of a top player are there if they can help with the mindset.

Leading *2-1
As two of our really standout players, it's nice to see them on the same side, together
Looking forward to watching this match - two very different but talented players. Very happy with the level of tennis from our young junior girls - much to be excited about going forward.
Fabulous attacking match from Mimi, this is the style of tennis Im really enjoying. Her focus and strength of mind at such a young age is great to see. Lots to like about her game including her huge serve.

Yes, note to BBC - are you listening, BBC? - there are people in the UK choosing to arrange their day around watching a junior girls doubles match
Hannah plays a thinking game of tennis - plays the ball into tricky positions - uses the slice well for this - sees the space
Hep is having a bit of a 'mare at the net, and not playing quite so well overall, but sometimes takes a little while to get going...
(And, yes, with Dani P and Ruby C's performance here too, as well as Mimi of course, the younger cohort are doing well)
Excellent tie-break from Hep - those two clutch serves at the end, not to mention almost taking the head off her opponent at the end of the really long rally
Well done, the two of them - thoroughly enjoyed that
I watched from near the end of set 2 and it was good to see a match played at a fast tempo with plenty of attacking intent. Not always well executed, but plenty of potential for Talia to improve.
Although Mimi plays a qualifier next Gabriella Kruger is the second highest ranked WTA player in the draw (456 behind Nikola Bartunkova). Jasmine's opponent got lucky with a w/o against a seed

To compare with last year, we had 9 entrants, comprising:
With our two playing non seeds and one of those a qualifier, it would feel like there is a chance of one or the other getting to the last 8, fingers crossed?!
the 'qualifier'hasn't played juniors for years ,trained at elite facility in Florida and already reached no WR456 on adult wta ranking
