Congratulations to Cam and also to all those on here who have supported him through thick and thin. It's your day too. Take a bow.

What a battle that was. Superb stuff.

Cam is a great example of a player who has really put the work in and shown determination to get to the top. Bravo to him, this is a huge moment!

I would say Goffin looked in control for most of the match, but Cam dug his teeth in and really grinded it out.

 Yes, absolutely.

There's a huge amount of commitment behind that guy's success

And credit to his coach at college, when Cam was larking around and not taking things seriously (and then that accident) and the coach put it to him straight: do you want to waste your chance or actually give it a go?

Brilliant end to the match, real guts to see it out

Glad Djoko had to play 5 sets too  it also means that he's not looking quite so invincible.

Fantastic stuff from Cam.
I have followed him since his Uni days.
What a great guy and his hard work and dedication.
I love this type of moment.
Can't see him beating Novak but then you just never know.

Never say never biggrin  - Goffin was the fave and Cam came through the last match. Would be delighted if Cam won!!

I'm not watching but looming at the scores, I'm going out on a limb and saying Djokovic had a toilet break after the 2nd set. So unfair. Bet he had a 'gel' too

It's almost like you were there.

So predictable but then opponents should know and prepare for it

Nadal going off court for a medical time out. He started like a man in a hurry breaking Fritz in the opening game and holding but then he began to look jaded and lost the first set 6-3.

Surprise surprise Rafa recovers and nicks the second set 7-5. Naughty Nick is two sets up in the other QF.

I do think Kyrgios' situation shows the silliness of the AELTC's Russia policy.

After all, what's worse, giving glory to players who just happen to be Russian, or giving glory to a player accused of domestic abuse?

It's not a question of what's is worse though.  The AELTC didn't ban the Russians and Belarussians because they hold them responsible for what's going on, they banned them because the UK government wanted the players to make a statement against Putin which would have repercussions for them back in Russia.
