Weeks 26 and 27 - The Championships, Wimbledon (grass) - men's singles

I'm not watching but looming at the scores, I'm going out on a limb and saying Djokovic had a toilet break after the 2nd set. So unfair. Bet he had a 'gel' too

This is a weird game. Cam takes second set then loses 4 games in a row at the start of the third. They are saying he has lost his feel for the ball.

Cam not really at the races in this match at the moment.  I know he wanted the crowd to get behind him, which is fine, but does anyone else find the male morons responsible for individual shouts during games, irritating?

The sad thing is that I think Cam has the game to play Goffin off the court but it's just not happening for him today. It's taking everything he's got to stay in the fourth set. He needs to do a Djokovic and find a new level mid-match.

Yes, Cam breaks. It was bloody hard work but he got there. Now he just needs to hold to take the fourth set.

Phew animated emoticon  Cam takes the fourth set by 6-3 to level the match.  Can he now close it out?

Yay.

What you put the work in for. To drag a Wimbledon QF into a 5th set and now hopefully ( please! ) go on and win.

So nerve racking, so difficult to believe he'll come through this.when Cam makes him play Goffin makes mistakes, but Cam is making errors first.

If Cam can only make the semi-finals it will make him a star in the UK, just remember what it did for Tim Henman!

QF:  (9) Cameron Norrie WR 12 defeated David Goffin (BEL) WR 58 by 3-6 7-5 2-6 6-3 7-5  biggrin

How did he do that?!!     I don't dislike Goffin, but...

Unfortunately:

SF:  (1) Novak Djokovic (SRB) WR 3 (CH = 1 in July 2011) vs (9) Cameron Norrie WR 12
