It'll be very interesting to see how they do the schedule. They surely won't put all 4 matches on CC and start earlier, and whether they do one women and one men's on each of the main courts, or one women's on CC and one on C1, and 2 men's on CC.

Huge opportunity for Cam now.

'The last Brit standing was outstanding'(commentary). I don't know who said that but I wish I'd thought of it.

Pity for Tiafoe, who I really like too. He evidently picked up an injury in the 4rh set when 2 sets to 1 up.

But for Cam, got to be happy with a QF vs Goffin.

Wimbledon is nowadays quite conscious of optics. Itll be 1 mens and womens on each court, womens will be first Id expect as their semis are first

that said - weve maybe Djoko v Sinner and Cam v Goffin - which would you put on centre and which on court one.

I suspect I am wrong above...2 mens and 1 womens on Tuesday centre court

Harking back to the Kyrgios/Tsitsipas match,  I often have the sub-titles turned on (& leave them on, irrespective of the channel), as I sometimes find  it difficult to fathom what some commentators are saying _ & the mistakes are sometimes priceless:  there was a reference to Tsitsipas & it came out as "sissypants"!  biggrin

Slightly off topic, what is it about Ons Jabeur's first name that compels the commentators not to pronounce the final "s" (it almost invariably comes out as "On")?  Do they know something I don't?  confuse

This Alcaraz chap plays some wonderful tennis, but I am finding it really hard to enjoy his manner. Maybe he will mellow.

If Carlos turns this around then surely, surely you can't have a potential Novak vs Alcaraz match on C1, but then it would be harsh on Cam to have a huge QF on C1, so will be very interesting to see what they do. Sinner still a fave here mind.

Sinner from *3-6 to *7-6 and MP in the TB.

Er surely the same holds true for Sinner who has been absolutely brilliant

If it is one men's QF on Centre and one on Court One, which is what I was thinking, I would suggest Djoko on Centre for a 5th time in a row ( and thus for his whole tournament ) and Cam on Court One would not go down well with many.

I don't tend to bother too much re schedules but in this case I'd agree. Cam on Centre, whatever!
