How on earth ????
Eleven games in a row he lost - and then suddenly there he still was, digging deep, and Diego seemed a little rattled....
It was so tough....
Brilliant result

As is the umpire...

Have I been wrong all this time

I'd put it as Brode-ee, which is how I just heard the commentator say it at the end ( I wasn't watching earlier ) and what I have always understood.

Confirmed by Liam himself in the audio on his ATP site section.

That would be great to have a guaranteed British player in the fourth round. Excellent for Liam, who's really had a bit of a resurgence in the last couple of years. Looks like he's got a very solid support base, with his sister, his mum, his brother, his coach and Eden Silva (his girlfriend?) all cheering him on. Shame he isn't going to get the points but will do wonders for his self belief.
