In light of the ATP decision to cancel ranking points at Wimbledon, the organisers of this poll event have conferred. It is clear that a British win is a British win regardless of who is or isnt playing and therefore all wins at Wimbledon and the qualifying events will still count in this competition.
A press release will follow in due course

I for one, applaud the organizers for their strong leadership and their fundamental aim (ie. to avoid litigation in the courts of this unfair land) on this historic day for ......
PS. can we do something about the scaling of the poll results, perhaps try logarithmic scale?

thank you kind sir. Payment in the post.
re the poll scales - yes, it is rather flat with one person dominating. Blame it on lack of imagination/ risk taking rather than the poor visual effects available !
I have only just noticed that the post Wimbledon men's 25Ks are on grass whereas the women's are on hard courts which is a bit disappointing. I wonder why they have done that?
Maybe there will be a late surge and the poll will end up 52 / 48 ( ignoring the fact there s more than 2 in it !) and arguments will rage for years to come !
If she stays fit Emma is likely to be the queen of the main draw events but who will be the queen of the qualifying events, because she could well be the winner in this competition. Who is good enough to qualify for all the events and maybe win a match or two in the main draw but who never gets a main draw wild card?
