Day 1 lead with 1 win for Eden, Freya, Isabelle Lacy and Talia N-G.

Just to be clear. EWS and Danielle both have no wins and will reach 1 win if they win their FQR match. They might have got lucky with a bye in terms of progress but sadly its null points in terms of wins!

Won't she be restricted in the number of tournaments she can play though?

I have no idea on the rules, but 2 in the bag is better than none - no one else might win a match!!!

My money is on either Sonay or Lily winning a match.

 That's a shrewd bet Spireman!

Will matches forced indoors due to rain still count towards the total?

Yep definitely - that is commented on in the first post . Thing is , its impossible to keep a tally of matches over 5 weeks going indoors; some matches start out and go in. And they are all part of the same tournament. the title is wins in grass court tournaments but that may include a few forced indoors.

Current standings as of Thursday 2nd June

2 Eden Silva
2 Isabelle Lacy
2 Jodie Burrage
1 Freya Christie
1 Sonay Kartal
1 Talia Neilson-Gatenby

Just Jodie left in this week, week 1 of 6 weeks of women's grass play

None of the leaders had any voters for them; Emma not started yet, of course.

So far we're not very good at forecasting, five of the six received no votes smile

It may have been a retirement by her opponent, but it counts! Jodie takes the lead in our little "race"

Table - end of play June 3rd

3 Jodie Burrage
2 Eden Silva
2 Isabelle Lacy
1 Freya Christie
1 Sonay Kartal
1 Talia Neilson-Gatenby

3 Jodie Burrage
2 Eden Silva
2 Isabelle Lacy

1 Sonay Kartal

and This is the end of week 1 table, not yet including the Nottingham qualies results which I will add later when play ends for the day.

List updated to include Saturday 4th June Nottingham qualies results:

3 Eden Silva
3 Jodie Burrage
2 Isabelle Lacy
1 Beth Grey
1 Freya Christie
1 Katie Boulter
1 Lily Miyazaki
1 Sonay Kartal
1 Talia Neilson-Gatenby

Eden moves to equal top with Jodie and, with a match against Beth tomorrow, she could move top ahead of the main draw. Good to see my pick, Katie, making a start as well!

With Emma having a tough draw at Nottingham and Sonay perhaps not showing herself yet as a force on grass (perhaps), this could turn out to be an interesting "race" over the next few weeks
