Flora Johnson (2007) lost in three.

And Alaia Perez, as a LL, put up a good show but also lost in three.

That gives us 7 through to the second round (Isabelle v Erin not played yet)

With Sarah and wildcard Ruby as still the two stand-out victories of the day

In the boys, Patrick Brady beat Viktor

And Ben G Wan beat Freddy Blaydes

So those two will play off for a SF spot

Hugo Coquelin is also into the QFs

In the girls, Talia has lost, which is rather disappointing.

Less surprising, maybe, but I know she has fans, Given Roach also lost.

Both were in two sets but reasonable close.

Sarah Tatu, though, has won - nice to see her doing well - she played decent tennis at the Nationals and had a rather unlucky draw.

In the R1s that finished this morning, Isabelle Lacy beat Erin.

Im sure Talia is disappointed with that result, was a tough round 2 match vs seed 2. Her opponent is currently ranked 90 but was as high as 65 in January. Having said that Talia did beat her in 3 sets in Dominican Republic in April. Maybe Talia will take the route of Jasmine and focus on the womens going forward. Its not always easy switching between the 2.

Phoenix has taken out the top seed and we have a guaranteed finalist now

After his great start to the year (juniors and adults), we've speculated on here as to why Phoenix had such a barren spell, losing in the the first round of four events.

Doesn't matter - as long as it's all behind him

Great talent, that kid.

It gets better as Louis Bowden has beaten the Dutch player and so there's another all-GB match for tomorrow

Also, Luca defeated Fabio and Will Jansen defeated Jefferson

In the girls, I'm a happy bunny as Mimi came through in two, as did Hep (over the 8th seed)

Really pleased.

THat's another win for Ruby.

And one for Isabelle

So another all-GB match

And leaving us with:

Girls QF

Sarah Tatu (2004) v Buchnik(ISR)
Cooling (2007) v Lacy (2006)
Kubacha(Pol) v Mimi Xu (2007)
Oluwadare (2007) v Lincer(POL)

Pretty amazing for us to get 3 2007-ers through
