Never seen Luca play but I note from TennisDad (who seems knowledgeable about all the youngsters) that he plays a decent, solid game.

He's certainly had a real run, these last few weeks.

He's in the doubles final too, and has had a nice comfortable run to the singles final.

An interesting final against Will Jansen who must be one year older than him, I think.

NB Flora Johnson (born 2007) is also in the doubles final.

Luca and Will is a repeat of last week's final Jon.

Hannah and Hep met in the SF of last year's 14U Junior Nationals, which Hannah won on a 3rd set tie-break

Thanks, L - I was wracking my brains, trying to remember where Hep and Han had played - I knew there'd been a third set TB and couldn't for the life of me remember in which competition.

Given Hannah has been on a steeper trajectory since last year, you'd think she must be favourite.

However, Hep obviously had certain issues last year (injury?) and missed a fair bit of tennis and is now really finding her form again, I'm hoping for a close score (but without anyone busting a gut and getting injured !)

That's very convincing from Luca - twice on the trot

Brilliant, again, from Hannah.

Almost sad to say it's no real surprise

Really lovely to see the extremely talented Tennis Europe 11 year-old become the extremely talented ITF juniors player.....

But no other titles

Both Luca+ and Flora+ lost their respective doubles.

Great week though in singles, with all four finalists from GB

Huge jumps in rankings for Hannah and Hep.
Hep will be knocking on top 250, whilst Hannah closing in on top 300

Luca will be well inside top 150.

Can she already play J1/J2 tournaments?
