Kate Mansfield is probably one o the better player on the girls side. She is US, but based here and is a lot older than most and played in the qualifiers in some of the 25ks and has a bit of knowhow and consistency on court.
If Ben Gusic Wan wants to move up to the next level and he is good enough he needs to start going deep. I think the best performance on ITF juniors was a semi final.
Good to see a few younger or newer names getting ranking points over the last couple of weeks - Hannah Rylatt, Max Carrier, Sarah Copley, Heidi Crnan, Cameron Fryer etc

Not sure. Paulisi saw him last year and was talking very highly of him, and impressed, but said he was small for his age. I think he might have seen him again this year.
My feeling is that he's rather 'fully priced', although that's not always a problem, of course.
He beat Max Carrier today, in two tight sets, and although he lost the nationals last year to Joe Maz., I think he's established himself firmly as our best 2007-er. Not sure that will be enough though...

The depth of talent is very good at the moment.
How did she come to be based in the UK?
No idea. All the kids know her and she plays all the GB junior events and 25ks when she gets in.
