maybe queens will wait to see surbiton results, if a player does well there he may get a bonus of the queens wc. esp if he makes the semis and cant make queens qualies.

Any of you guys going to the Queens club this year? I really miss this tournament. I have been many times in the past and i infinitely prefer it to wombledon. its a better venue; more intimate and less tourists/2 week tennis fans. seen some great matches in the past, although for some reason the finals tend to be anticlimaxes. i went to the roddick/grosjean final a few years ago when it really should have been henman/agassi (they both got knocked out in the semis) and i nearly fell asleep. the subsequent becker/edberg exhibition match was better. if you are going, have a stella artois on me.
I'm going and I'm stoked about it!! I'm sure I'll find time for a Stella Artois Even if I am planning how to best avoid a group of girls wearing 'Get Your Roddick Out' t-shirts!

I'm torn whether to take my big camera with a big zoom (I'm sure there's a more professional word for that) or not. I should have a courtside seat...but I'll already be humping my laptop around, so I don't want to be walking round like the hunch back of notre dame. Unfortunately, as close as I can be to the court, my digital camera doesn't have the best zoom....hmm...we'll see. Just thought I'd waffle out my dilemma to you guys there!!
I think you should take it Lucy. You could pretend you are a bigshot journalist who left her pass at home. you might even be able to blag some corporate hospitality.
Ha! I don't think I could ever pass for a big shot journalist! You're talking to the girl who queued up for a chef's jacket, instead of her media credential at the Davis Cup final in Seville, and who fell into a big cooling fridge when Tim Henman entered the media room in Rome! I always seem to reserve my clutsiest moments for when I'm supposed to be media!
I'll definitely take my big camera down to Queens with me, and then I'll see if the Queen's media area have some lockers so I could maybe leave it there when I don't need it.
fish is only 2 spots of the md by rights, theres always the possibility djokovic will pull out if he is injured from FO and nadal maybe if its a tough final.
if fish gets in willthe wc be realsed to another player?

Or does Fish not come off the alt list if he has accepted the WC ? The next person on the alt list would they get in ?
this is how steveg has the list. I think they would have removed fish from the alts already if that were the case. so hopefully the wc would be freed, meaning baker, bloomers and boggo?
however if he makes it in after the qualies have started they would probably have a LL spot?
