If it is true that 3 WCs are going to non-brits then i am confused !!!! Everyone else looks after their own.........typical !
Quite, there was all that stuff about the US Open not giving Andy a wildcard because Wimbledon wouldn't negociate a swap and give an American one this year. What is Queens doing??
Do they have wildcards into the qualifying that they could give to the lower Brits?

i think pretty much all of the qualies wc's will go to brits, but to be honest its a tough draw to qualfiy from, personally i only think boggo and big arvs would have the current ability to be able to do so. not sure how many wc's there are 4 or so i would guess.

If so I'd give them to Lee, Bloomers, Mackin, Auckland and Fleming.
I think Parmar will get into qualies automatically.
I think that only he and Lee will have a real chance of qualifying. Bloomers and Mackin have outside shots but it will really depend on the draw for them. Last year, Mackin got Brits for the first two rounds and then pulled something special out of the bag against Morrison in rd3.
I don't think that the others have been decided on yet, last year they didn't announce the final couple until the Friday of Surbiton.
Morrison got a lucky loser spot last year [lost to Blake in 3] but I'm not sure if he knew that before the match.
He definately tried really hard to beat Mackin, it was a 3 setter. I think that Alan served really well that day. His serve has a lot more venom on the grass, it's placement has improved a lot in the last couple of years which makes it a real weapon on fast courts.
I wish that Queens qualies were shown on TV, the standard is really good quality. Maybe, with GS qualies starting to be shown, in a few years some ATP qualies will be shown aswell.
This is absolutely disgusting. 3 out of 5 wildcards to non-Brit's is simply a disgrace. 1 is okay and maybe 2 especially of there was someone especially deserving but 3 is just a joke. There are too many people in British tennis who love to moan about how little we achieve but aren't willing to do anything to give a hand to any of our lesser known players. I guess the Pimms drinking brigade would rather watch Phillipousis instead of a young british player

Are you going to see the qualifying ? Is Kate coming too or will she still be at the World Cup ? Support Jamie Baker for me if you can !
Kate isn't going, no....I won't be going to qualifying on the Saturday as England are playing, but I'll be there on the Sunday. My tickets are tied to Andy Roddick, so if he makes it to the final, yes I'll be there all week

Hopefully Colin Fleming makes it through to rd3 qualies so you can support him on the Sunday !
I hope that Andy R doesn't play a Brit otherwise your loyalties may be quite severely tested !
Andy Murray is at Surbiton, supporting Jamie and practising on the grass. There's a rumour that he might play the exhibition match again this year. Last year he played Ancic in the exhibition match [best of 1 set] and he lost a close match 8-6 [in games] I think.
