Boys & Girls: Les Petits As U14 super category, France, indoor hard (Week 4)

A disappointing result today after a brilliant week, but at she has the chance to come back again next year and try to win. Meanwhile does anyone know what the age limit for junior Wimbledon is? How long will it be before we get to see Hannah there?

This year! She will be 13 next month and we had 2 13 year olds last year with Mimi and Hephzibah.

I found this report from Annabel Hristova today, about her experience at Les Petis As

Annabel is doing well, one of those on the radar

Les petit as was an incredible experience for me.... I really enjoyed making friends from all around the world and playing against some of the top players out there

The organisation of the tournament couldn't been any better, the venue had everything the players could think off.... it was spectacular!

All Covid checks were in place, we were tested every morning. Then we played our matches, then had lunches and dinners together, which was amazing, competitors on the court, but then friends...

I have played 10 singles matches and won 8 of them, so despite playing the consolation draw, I'm very proud of my game.

Apart of tennis, my favourite part of the week was the official ceremony on Tuesday, the 25th, all players marched out in groups by nations, holding their flags, it was super fun and entertaining!

I'm so glad, I had the opportunity to play at Tarbes this year, unforgettable experience and memories to last!

Le Petit As is Europe's premier junior tournament for 12-14 year olds, running since 1983 and held in Tarbes, France. Notable champions have gone onto Grand Slam success including Rafael Nadal, Michael Chang, Martina Hingis, Kim Clijsters, and Jelena Ostapenko
